David Sandoval and Amy Venner have been working together in the field of nutrition and green foods for over 20 years. In 1993, they opened their first small green foods manufacturing facility. They sold products that had been grown at their privately owned farm in Utah (which we still use today) to assure total control over the production, manufacturing, and processing of their products.
In 2004, Dave and Amy established Purium as a direct-selling company, and at the same time launched the Platinum division in Europe.
In 2007, Dave wrote the Green Foods Bible. Since then, it has undergone revisions resulting in the newest version, which released in early 2015.
It was not until 2012 that Purium began the gift card marketing program, which was responsible for catapulting the company to its position as one of the 5,000 fastest growing companies in the USA (as of 2014) by Inc. Magazine.
